My work explores the diversity of linguistic sound and questions what constitutes music beyond traditional notation. Can music exist without musical notes? Can language, when stripped of semantic function, become melody? Through performance and design, I investigate how multilingual voices—spoken, layered, and intertwined—form a sonic experience that transcends meaning.
This current project, L’Orchestra, gathers speakers of different languages to read simultaneously, creating a polyphonic composition where rhythm and intonation replace conventional musical structures. By deconstructing both language and music, my work challenges the boundaries between speech and sound, inviting new ways of listening and understanding.
